T-Gen is advanced tree and plant generator which is fully integrated into XSI architecture. It combines XSI flexibility, intuitive interface and advanced algorithms to create trees and plants by amazing speed.

Powerful tool that provides most of T-Gen Master functionality with minimum amount of limitations. This version can be used for non-commercial purposes only.

This version includes extra features like tree optimization, advanced geometry and distribution settings, geometry roughness, full support and commercial usage. It's the final solution for generating trees and plants within XSI.

New features of T-Gen 2 :

• New core - on average T-Gen 2 is 3x-4x faster over the old version. While most of the UI stays the same, T-Gen 2 is build from scratch to properly support multiple CPU cores.
• Dynamics - you can now use XSI forces to simulate tree and plant dynamics.
• New distribution options - new distribution types are random and point distribution. By using point distribution you can define exact positions of branches or leaves.
• New noise types - you can now use perlin noise to get more natural look of branches.
• T-Gen Manager - tool for managing your trees and plants. You can save and load presets, apply forces and randomize the look of plants.
• T-Custom - this tool allows distribution of user-defined objects.

Other features :

• Tree and plant generation - you can generate various types of plants by adapting L-Systems technology used in T-Gen
• Advanced Leaf and Branch appearance settings - each T-Gen object consists of several groups of parameters. You can modify shape, radius, gravity influence and more, by setting those parameters. Take a look at default layout of T_Leaf and T_Branch objects.
• Preset Manager - tool for managing tree and plant presets.  All material ans shading information can be saved within preset file. Trees and plants loaded  from preset are exactly the same as original. Most presets work across multiple versions of XSI.
• Free version available - if you are not using T-Gen for commercial purposes and you don't need advanced features of Master version, you can download and use free version of T-Gen.
• Node-based tree hierarchy(parent-child relationship) - each tree and plant generated using T-Gen consists of several T_Leaf or/and T_Branch objects in hierarchical relations.
• Geometry optimization(T-Gen Master) - T-Gen Master contains additional features dedicated to geometry optimizations (low-poly trees and plants).
• Property-based distribution settings - each T-Gen object has T_Distribution property which applies to it. T_Distribution stores parameters dedicated to branch and leaf distribution. You can move and copy T_Distribution between T-Gen objects.
• Full FCurve utilization - most of T-Gen settings can be affected by XSI FCurve. This gives you extra flexibility while creating your own trees and plants.
